Our Story & Mission
From Pickleball Addict to a Passion for Paddle Innovation: The Ethos Journey
Obsession
Ethos emerged from my deep-rooted passion for pickleball, evolving from a player's obsession into a pioneering paddle company. My journey began in 2017 when I first picked up a pickleball paddle and almost immediately became an ardent advocate for the sport.
By 2019, I began sharing my enthusiasm by coaching others, initially for free, driven by a desire to support and grow my local pickleball community. In 2020, a friend and medalist on Pro Senior circuit extended an exciting opportunity to become a club pickleball director. I jumped at the chance to pursue pickleball full time and to coach players at all skill levels.
Club director and paddle brand representative
As a club pickleball director, I became a representative for several major paddle brands. This exposure was invaluable, allowing me to learn about the latest designs and technologies in the industry. It also gave me the satisfaction of helping fellow players find paddles that perfectly suited their needs. Through my focus and hands-on experience, I eventually became a 5.0 medalist in multiple tournaments, providing me with unique insights into the strengths & weaknesses of various paddles on the market.
Ethos is born
With a background in manufacturing & an innate tendency to tinker, I began to experiment with designing my own paddles. Drawing from my extensive knowledge of leading brands, I started crafting designs that incorporated my own innovations. By 2022, I was ready to bring my creations to the world. Ethos was born out of a relentless drive to challenge conventional paradigms and improve upon existing technologies.
Our mission with Ethos is to create high-performance paddles that leverage a unique array of materials and their characteristics. After countless prototypes and rigorous testing, we launched our first paddle, Telos, an exceptional all-around paddle that quickly gained a following. Building on this success, we introduced the aerodynamic Arete and the perfectly balanced Scoria. Now, we are excited to unveil the Dunamis Pro, our top-of-the-line paddle that represents the pinnacle of our innovative efforts.
Thank you & welcome!

from 168 reviewsThis is a great product. I have these on all my paddles.
So I installed the RH UL grip for my wife’s paddle and the LH LW on mine. Installation was fairly easy and these grips provide exactly the feel that I was hoping for. I must say however , the UL grip is a much better option. There is just enough texture to give the feedback I need to change my grip as needed during a rally. But the LW is a bit too thick and makes my grip too bulky for my liking. Unfortunately, there was no other option for left hand grips so I had to purchase the LW instead of the UL. Otherwise these are a fantastic grip option.
Very comfortable and vibration damping is good highly recommended
This was an unexpectedly great upgrade to my pickleball game especially at net. I didn’t want a locked in grip which I have heard from hesacore grips and as a tennis player who’s coming into pickle, I use a 3 different grips. I also suffer from a brachial plexus injury so my right hand doesn’t contribute much to switching grips. But, I usually can find the different grips with one hand but at net especially there were times I couldn’t get the right grip. I would either undershoot or overshoot the grip change, so I hoped that this might help, but I was skeptical. Now with Ethos grip, because the raised grooves make it easier to change grips with one hand and never miss it what grip I need. I can easily go from a continental to semi-western for a speed up at net which was difficult before.
In terms of installation I used 91% isopropyl alcohol and it slipped on no problem even with the added weight to the grip I had to go over as well.
Highly recommend if you want that quick confident grip change.
This mid weight grip provide s me with a perfect grip size. I am now having a relaxed grip. It elevates my game.
Does what it says, reasonably priced. Be sure to use the advice provided when it comes to installing, otherwise it may be a pain to slip on your paddle. Will buy again when it's time
Love them so much I now have my coaching clients using them and have stocked them in the Pro Shop I manage at Peak Time.
Been using ethos for a while now they’re really great under grips. Nothing else like it.
I bought the right handed Ethos medium weight grip to help with my tennis elbow. This has helped me grip the paddle with less tension which puts less stress on my tendon which has tennis elbow issues. It may not make it go away but this is a nice way to prevent or make tennis elbow worse.
Great product. Easy to install. Works as advertised. Highly recommend.
The hexagon just wasn’t doing it for me any longer. A friend referred me to Ethos. Wow game changer. I can move my paddle for shots easier now. Thanks Ethos.
I love these I got one and used it during the collegiate pickleball season and it worked amazing, just ordered more and I can’t wait! I just got mine in and I’m so excited and I just ordered overgrip that I’ve used throughout the season!
These shirts are made of high quality material that feels nice and cool. They run a tad small.
Good value.
This grip adds a much needed lighter version to the lineup. It is great for people with smaller hands or if you like to play with a lighter paddle.
Not sure how and why it works but it does. It's thin and comfortable and the first game I played with it on I didn't even notice that I had added a new grip after a few minutes. I played well all day and 9 games later I didn't have any elbow pain. I won't play without one from now on. I tried this instead of the other brand and I'm glad I did. Plus, Ethos customer service is first rate. Get one and add your favorite overgrip. You won't be disappointed.

Pro Undergrip RH-LW
Designed by a professional instructor to help support a proper grip. Thinner & lighter than the original Pro Undergrip and the exact same feel on both sides so you can spin in your hand. Cuts vibration, improves contact, and counterbalances the paddle.
Great product. Easy to install. Works as advertised. Highly recommend.

I love this undergrip because it is thin and still very comfortable ! I take the paddles grip off, put this one and then use a overgrip on top. It leads to a perfect feel ! The price point is very fair also!
This grip is hands down the best out there. It’s easy to adjust your hand position for different shots and to return to your dominant hand position. It also increases your grip on the handle, allowing you to loosen it for finesse shots and resets. The overwrap lays more naturally on this undergrip, preventing bunching up and strange overlaps. Installation is also very easy. Simply line up your most dominant finger position before putting on the overwrap, and you’ll never lose your place on the paddle again. Repeatability is crucial for consistent shot placement, and this grip makes it easier to achieve that. Plus, if you use a trigger finger style grip on your index finger, this grip is very natural for you. Enjoy playing with it!
Easy to install and perfect for me to grip the paddle always the way, and when I change a grip for some shots I go back easily, it’s comfy, it comes a little longer than the other brand I used to use, it works really well, I can cut to length and I am enjoying it very much!
DUNAMIS PRO
Breakthrough play requires a breakthrough paddle. Introducing the Dunamis Pro, the first pickleball paddle created using Vectran Arylate Carbon.
A phenomenal paddle! In the era where POWER is KING/QUEEN one needs a CONTROL paddle to equally counter the POWER FOAM paddle. The Dunamis Pro is THE PADDLE to do so! It hits like an absolute brick due to the vibration dampening system they put in the paddle. Also it's extremely maneuverable as I attack the kitchen line. The paddle hits like a widebody although it's a classified as a standard shape. The secret sauce that makes this paddle ABOVE other CONTROL paddles is the surface area. Arylate Carbon is what Table Tennis uses for their HIGH LEVEL paddles. You won't feel the grit, but goodness this paddle can SHAPE the ball! I've owned the paddle for nearly a year. It's just so darn consistent in performance. When I feel like a CONTROL "monster" on the courts. This is my go to.
The dunamis pro is an incredible paddle! The spin and control with it is top tier. It feels very quick in the hands as well and really complements my game.
This paddle has a lot of useful dwell time
and a non explosive rebound. The shape is very pleasing and the handle is right.
It doesn’t hurt that it’s a beautiful paddle. People do notice it. Overall an all court tool that wins games.
Great paddle, learning how to evolve my game and this contruction, plus the grip feel really nice.
I'd been waiting for a paddle with similar characteristics to a table tennis racket for a while, and this was exactly what I was looking for. I played table tennis for 12 years, and this paddle definitely changed my game, especially in the kitchen in doubles games. It has great control, a great sweet spot, and is very fast for hand exchanges. In addition, it has great spin and good power, making it a well-rounded racket. It's a bit small, but perfect for me; many tennis players who have approached me have also loved it.
DUNAMIS
Discover the one-of-a-kind Dunamis Pickleball Paddle by Ethos. Dunamis combines an exclusive aerodynamic shape with standard paddle dimensions to deliver an exceptional thermoformed pickleball paddle. Its unique blend of materials and advanced design make it a top choice for players seeking speed, control, and power.
Very poppy but a huge sweetspot making it easier to control than other poppy paddles. Also very lightweight which makes it very customizable with weight.
Powerful lightweight paddle. The light weight does not detract from power. Not very forgiving away from sweet spot as with other paddles played. The silicone under grip shipped with the paddle is great. It is somewhat difficult to install as it must be stretched over the end cap and length of the grip handle after removing the stock overlay, but it increases grip circumference which I prefer. And even more important, the resulting knurled grip followed by an overlay allows my fingers to rest in a natural position on the grip between knurls which secures the paddle much better than a standard grip.
Excellent paddle for the amount of money.
I found this paddle to be good, but not great. I was expecting more for the price. I'm back to using my Friday pickleball paddle.
I bought this paddle because i was looking for somthing light and this fit the bill. It is easy to control, with great spin action. It has less power than my current paddle, but I am happy with the over all play results. Good purchase!
SCORIA
The SCORIA paddle is a top-tier thermoformed paddle featuring a traditional shape delivering exceptional control. Its uncommonly lightweight design for an elongated paddle enhances maneuverability, and it's extra long six inch handle makes it perfect for players with tennis experience & those looking to enhance their games with two-handed backhands.

The Ethos Pickleball Arete will always be my go-to, but as I am working the Twoey backhand I needed a little more surface area as my twoey is a work in progress. I added this Power Paddle to my Arsenal and goodness does it deliver. I’m amazed how tight the paddle feels similar to the Arete. The 6” grip length allows me to work the “feel” of my twoey. I’m a value seeking Pickler . . The price is hard to beat. @ 120 swingweight don’t let me get off a forehand drive. This product is 5/5 . . PURCHASE NOW!
My game focuses on placement over power. I need a paddle that will allow me to have accuracy with my light touch. While I am at the NVZ I primarily use a two handed grip so the longer handle is perfect. This paddle is well made and comes at a much more affordable price than any other comparable paddle.
I really love my new paddle. At first, I was concerned at the smaller size, but I love the 6 inch handle as a former tennis player. It has really helped my two handed backhand. Also great customer service.
ARETE
The ARETE paddle, inspired by the Ancient Greek philosophy concept of excellence, represents a groundbreaking advancement in thermoformed paddles with an uncommon six inch spacious handle. It offers significantly more power than first-generation raw carbon fiber paddles while ensuring well-rounded play with superior control. Its unique shape allows for incredible swing speed and fast hands, making it a top choice for serious players.
I love this paddle. Big paddle feel in a little paddle. The Spin and touch make this a one stop shop. Power when you ask for and the ability to dip it over the net on drives is uncanney. All in all I love this paddle and it will stay in my rotation. Dont be scared of how it looks cause it plays well.
I play both Tennis and Pickleball. After doing some research, I came across the Ethos brand as I was looking for a company that was both in the USA and my home state of NC. After reading about the company philosophy and the ARETE paddle, I decided to try it. I love the paddle. I need an extra long handle due to the size of my hands and I use a two hand backhand. The paddle is well built and has held up nicely. I love the aerodynamics of it and how they have cut out the bottom corners of the head to allow for quicker motions. I play 2 to 3 times a week and the paddle plays very well, looks good and has a very nice feel. They are also very reasonably priced. I have a guess to what most paddles cost to manufacture and most are way overpriced. Ethos is trying to be both a reputable company and a company that makes great products and they are succeeding.
I buy Ethos paddles exclusively. I love the quality and price point of these paddles. Anytime I get a friend into the sport I buy them one of these. Eventually they upgrade to a different Ethos paddle! We love their paddles!
A fantastic paddle . . A paddle that is stripped down to the essentials . . Spin/Control (10/10) . . Its design makes kitchen fast hands exchanges super fun. . 6” elongated handle makes the infamous “twoey” super doable. The price . . The solid design makes it an easy buy and try pick up. Are you a Tennis Player? If so, this is the paddle for u with its “tennis racket” shape/design.
Love my new paddle. Lots of power and enjoy getting my double hand backhand as strong as my forehand! Perfect paddle if you have a tennis background!
TELOS
The TELOS paddle features a sleek and innovative design that balances hand speed and exceptional control in an elongated paddle, making it easy to hit consistent soft shots and get to the kitchen and use the improved reach and swing speed over other paddles to dominate the net. Its aerodynamic shape and foam-edged handle provide exceptional performance, reduced vibration, and minimized arm fatigue, catering to both beginners and advanced players.
This Gen 1 Paddle is an absolute KILLER on the court. As a PICKLEBALL Coach I look for paddles for students that have the highest level of value and performance. The TELOS meets those requirements. I always recommend this paddle to my beginner/intermediate students because of it’s minimalist design. The paddle’s shape forces my student to lock in on the sweet spot. This paddle’s UNIQUE design gives it a tight and solid thump as the ball pops off the surface area. The carbon surface area along with the shape allows you to feel as the maestro on the PB Court. The control and spin is out of this world. Perfect for students focusing on fundamentals and basics. BUY THIS PADDLE. I always have the TELOS in circulation. #BigSargePickleball
Got my telos paddle last week abd been playing a few games. Love the control and how quick my hands at to hit each shot.
I've been buying Ethos paddles exclusively since I started playing and decided to buy this one as an upgrade for a friend. They loved how much better this one was from their first paddle!
As a beginner, 5 months into the game, this paddle is perfect for me. Lightweight, long handle, sturdy, sol³id feeling. Lots of compliments on the look and shape. Very happy with my purchase.
Nice paddle
