Choosing a grip
Which undergrip should I get?
Pick your hand first, then your thickness. RH-UL is our thinnest at 0.8mm where your fingers sit, for players who want the closest feel of the handle. RH-LW and LH-LW sit in the middle at 1mm. RH-MW and the Original are 1.2mm, with the most vibration dampening and a bit more counterweight in the handle. The full chart is on the Undergrips page.
Do you make a left-handed model?
Yes, the LH-LW is designed specifically for left-handed players. The Original Pro Undergrip has grooves for both hands.
Will it fit my paddle?
Yes. The undergrip fits standard pickleball paddle handles. The RH-UL is 5.5 inches long and works on handles from 5.25 to 6 inches. The other models are 6 inches and can be trimmed from the top.
Will it make my handle too thick?
Usually the opposite. A standard factory grip is about 2mm thick. You remove that and replace it with an undergrip that's 0.8mm to 1.2mm where your fingers sit, so with most overgrips you end up the same or thinner.
Installation and use
How do I install it?
Remove the factory grip, wet the handle and the inside of the undergrip with isopropyl alcohol, slide the undergrip on, then wrap an overgrip over it. There's a short video on every product page.
Do I need an overgrip?
Yes. The undergrip goes directly on the handle and is designed to be wrapped with an overgrip, which is what your hand actually touches. Any overgrip works.
Can I trim it?
Yes, trim from the top of the grip to match your handle length. Trimming reduces the weight.
Can I move it to another paddle?
Yes. Remove the overgrip and slide the undergrip off carefully. A little alcohol helps it move.
How long does it last?
Far longer than an overgrip. The silicone doesn't absorb sweat the way cloth does, so most players replace the overgrip regularly and leave the undergrip in place.
Orders, shipping and returns
How fast do you ship?
Orders placed by 4pm Eastern on a business day usually ship the same day from Asheville, North Carolina, and US orders typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days after that. Full details are in our shipping policy.
Is shipping free?
US orders over $20 ship free, which includes every undergrip. Most international orders over $99 ship free.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, to most countries. Delivery usually takes 1 to 4 weeks, and any duties or customs fees are the customer's responsibility.
What if I don't like it?
Try it on court. You have 30 days from delivery to start a return on an undergrip, even if you've installed and played with it. There's no restocking fee; the return shipping cost is deducted from your refund. Other accessories and apparel can be returned unused within 30 days. See the refund policy for details.
What if it tears?
Undergrips carry a 1-Year Limited Warranty against tearing and manufacturing defects.
